Harrisburg University defense manufacturing summit expected to bring hundreds downtown

An advanced manufacturing summit will bring hundreds of defense industry professionals to Harrisburg over the next few days.

J-DAMMIT, the Joint-Defense Advanced Manufacturing Meeting for Innovation and Transition, began Tuesday. Now in its fourth year, the Harrisburg University-run event is expecting 450 attendees from Aug. 25 to 27. Attendees include students, entrepreneurs, and business and military professionals.
